I am Giraffish!

I created this Book of Blank Pages video for my Web2 clients to help them jump start their self-publishing adventure saving them hours of time and offering the inspiration to get started.

I've been part of Gary Club and the Giraffe Tower community since March 2022. It all started on Rally, where I held $GARY coin and dove into the world of Web3 along with the community, creating lifelong friends along the way. Watch for our next adventure to the Colorado Springs Zoo with @MauiNance and myself, @hippiedewday this June, you can feed the giraffes, IRL.

When the Giraffe Tower NFT collection launched a free mint, we minted through the Gary Club website. Back then, NFTs were mostly on Ethereum, and while the mint itself was free, gas fees were around $65 per giraffe. I saw it as "tuition"—an investment in learning about utility, tokenomics, and blockchain tech.

One of the most fun and creative aspects of owning my Giraffe NFTs has been turning them into unique merch items through Amazon. I’ve designed books, pillows, tote bags, and t-shirts, bringing our digital assets to life in a tangible way. This was MauiNancy's own NFT design.

Beyond just creating for myself, I’ve hosted private spaces to help other community members design, host and sell their own merch. This is something I still love doing, and I offer a free beginner how-to course on Gumroad for anyone looking to get started.

NFTs are more than just collectibles—they're tools for innovation, branding and personal expression!

I fell in love with all four of my original mints and soon after, I bought my first Offspring Giraffe on OpenSea.

The next year we learned how to mint offspring, I had 6 giraffes and minted 3. I continued buying and trading giraffe and created a herd with many desired traights.

It's been a fun experiment from the early days of NFT minting and breeding. Those baby giraffes are still in my wallet, though there hasn’t been much action in that collection for a while. Regardless, the experience was invaluable.

One of my favorite parts of the journey was Gary’s daily "Coffee" chats on Telegram. Every morning at 3 AM MT, I set my alarm to tune in, listening to discussions on Web3, marketing, and community building. I learned so much in those sessions when I was able to stay awake! As time went on, my Web2 audience struggled to grasp the concepts of NFTs and tokenized communities. That gap was frustrating for me, and eventually, I stepped back for a while.

Even when I wasn’t super active, I kept in touch with members of the community. Now, with the Giraffe ecosystem thriving on Solana, I’m diving back in! I recently sold one of my giraffes, freeing up some extra SOL to reinvest. I still have a herd of 10! Gary has talked about a Giraffe Rental Program coming soon, which has me very intrigued.

I'm excited for the new Stacker Agent—a blockchain AI trading tool— it will soon be available to all Giraffe NFT owners with 1000 Gary coin in their wallet. I’m excited to learn how it works and maximize my holdings with this amazing new technology. Gary is always cooking up something new putting Giraffes on Top!
